activities may be monitored by the Department of Homeland Security
(DHS), according to newly released documents.
I’ve just obtained through a Freedom of Information Act request copies of DHS’s “National Operations Center Media Monitoring Capability Standard Operating Procedures” and “National Operations Center Media Monitoring Capability Desktop Reference Binder.”
The documents were updated last August. This appears to be the first time the standard operating procedures have been released.
