EU Committee on Industry, Research and Energy publish draft report on the proposal for a directive concerning measures to ensure a high common level of network and information security

In February 2013 the European Commission, as requested by the European Parliament in its
own initiative report on a Digital Agenda for Europe, presented a proposal for a Directive
concerning measures to ensure a high common level of network and information security
across the Union, together with the first EU cyber-security strategy.

The DRAFT OPINION is now published of the Committee on Industry, Research and Energy
for the Committee on the Internal Market and Consumer Protection
on the proposal for a directive of the European Parliament and of the Council
concerning measures to ensure a high common level of network and
information security across the Union
