As part of our impending investigations into hacktivist groups associated with Anonymous, FBI Cyber Division has received reporting on “Operation New Son”.

Open source reports indicate that Operation New Son is being planned for Friday, May 25, 2012. This operation calls for online attacks against targeted organizations in the form of Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS0 attacks and the leaking of classified data. The proposed targets for Operation New Son are:
